Accessibility
Commitment
CUNA Railway Innovation aims to make this website usable to WCAG 2.2 Level AA. The site is built with semantic headings, landmarks, a skip link, keyboard access, a visible focus ring, labelled forms with inline errors, text alternatives for images, and respect for prefers-reduced-motion.
What works today
Pages have one main heading and a #main landmark. The first tab stop is Skip to content. Primary navigation, the services drawer, mega-menu, and forms are operable with a keyboard. Focus is trapped in the mobile menu and returned on Escape. Form errors are listed in an alert and tied to fields. Decorative video does not load when reduced motion or data-saver is on. Colour pairs used for text meet 4.5:1; UI graphics meet 3:1. The contrast matrix is on the internal design-system spec.
Compatibility
The site is tested in current Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge, and with keyboard-only use. Assistive-technology scripts for VoiceOver (macOS/iOS) and NVDA (Windows) are documented for home, services, contact, and emergency. Those scripts are a lab pass, not a claim that every assistive technology combination has been certified.
Known limits
Photography is not on the site yet. Empty media slots are labelled as pending; they are not photographs of CUNA work. The 24/7 emergency number on the prototype is a reserved fictional number until CUNA confirms the real line. The accessibility contact below uses the public inquiry address.
How to report a problem
If a page is difficult to use, email the published general address, name the page (or paste the URL), the browser or assistive technology, and what went wrong. We will reply using the same channel. Confirm the public inquiry address before treating this as a statutory complaints process.
